    Description

Aloha, kanes and wahines!  I've been collecting tiki stuff since around 1990.  It's time to start thinning out the collection.  I'm starting with the smaller stuff and will work my way up to the super-rare and more impressive items over the course of 2021 and 2022.  Please keep checking back for new listings (and also, a gigantic Star Wars collection that I'm selling in tandem with the tikis).
Please zoom in to the photos and examine items closely.  Most of the stuff is in nice shape, but everything is sold as-is.
Shipping charges for all items are exact USPS or UPS prices, I don't inflate them or assess a handling charge.  Happy to combine shipping on multiple orders.  Use the shipping calculator on Ebay and just add up the listed weight of all items.  Local pick-up is great too, and you're welcome to preview future items not listed yet!
This auction is for a classic-era tiki mug.  We all know the very best tiki mugs are the ones that came as souvenirs (bought not stolen!) from the classic-era tiki bars.  Yes, the new ones are elaborate and all fancy, but you can feel the history when you come across a classic vintage one. This one is from Trader Dick’s which was within John Ascuaga’s Nugget in Sparks (Reno), NV.  The seminal (if I may) Tiki Road Trip tells us that Dick's had a 42-foot bar, a 60 kilogallon aquarium and mediocre drinks to be sipped after winning or losing in the adjacent casino.   The mug is a winner.  Cool surfer girl motif.  Not sure what the big spike coming out of her head is.  Maybe it's a big spike.  Or a ponytail flapping about in the surfy wind?  Anyway, this mug is excellent.  Bid a lot, please.
