) The cookbook is identified as the
February 1964
edition. This is a 64 page softcover cookbook measuring about 7¾” x 5¼”. The cookbook has many recipes including Beverages, Quick Breads, Yeast Breads, Cakes, Frostings & Fillings, Cookies, Soups, Fish, Meat, Poultry, Stuffings, Meat & Vegetable Sauces, Eggs, Sandwich Fillings, Vegetables, Salads & Dressings, Pies, Puddings, Dessert Sauces, and Backyard Barbecues. As shown in the photos, the cookbook is in excellent condition for its age with little cover wear. The book is complete and remains securely stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has nice clean bright pages with no writing, creases, rips or tears. This vintage Metropolitan Cookbook would make a great addition to your collection!
