    Description

    This is a most unusual specimen from the Sylvania Ohio quarry.  It's a large, beautiful, enrolled Phacops milleri trilobite with a tiny baby in its mouth.  It's the only one I've ever seen in 40 years of collecting.
    It measures about 33 mm in width, quite large for this species.It is about 3.25" in circumference.
    The eyes are superb and there is no damage to the exoskeleton.  The baby is amazing in its detail, and yet so very tiny.
