Have a operating manual - instruction book issued by the New York Central System / Railroad titled " Instructions for Operation of Diesel Electric Locomotives All Classes ". Its pretty much what it says, it covers the operation of all the locomotives in the NYC's fleet in 1949. It has some revisions up to 1951. It is in very good, near mint, unissued condition. Binding is extremely tight, was a little difficult opening and keeping open to take the photos. Measures out to 4 3/4 x 6 x 1 inch thick. Builders & models covered are the EMD "A" & "B" units of FT, F3, F7, & E7's, and switchers SW1, SW7 & NW2. Alco models covered are "A" & "B" units of the FA & PA, switchers S1, S2, S3, & the HH600. Fairbanks Morse units covered are Erie Built A & B units, & H20-44. Baldwin units shown are DS44-6 & DS44-10. Also has instructions for the operation of the Elesco & Vapor-Clarkson Steam Generators.
