    Hand-painted French faience cake plate in Gien's remarkable 200 year old Renaissance Fond Bleu pattern featuring a central cherub cartouche, mythical creatures wrestling with ribbons and shooting scrollwork adorned with fruit. Lovely chain link borders.Two pre-drilled holes make hanging easy. Marked "Gien France" with the company castle mark used from 1960 through 1971.
