    Description

    You are bidding on a Coleman 228E dated 10-53.  Such a nice lantern I thought someone might want it for a birthday lantern.  About as good as a used one gets.  Has the common rim rash that every used lantern gets and a light bail mark.  Other than that the paint is in very good shape.  Has the original green sunrise logo globe it got at the factory.  The vent has some slight chipping around the center hole.  If you have been looking for a 10-53 dated lantern I know you will be happy with this one.
    All I did was wipe the dust off of it.  I have not tested this item in any way but I see no reason why it could not be made to work as intended.  Payment expected within 2 days of auction end.  Non paying winners will be blocked from ever bidding again on my auctions.  Please ask questions early so I have time to answer.
